The European Rotogravure Association, ERA, founded in 1956, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting users of the gravure printing process. Brand counterfeiting is a continually exacerbating issue within the food and pharma industries and is defined as the production of lower-quality replicas of branded goods with the intention of exploiting/reaping the inherent added value of the imitated goods. This phenomenon creates profit loss throughout the overall supply chain and also results in end-consumer defrauding since the product does not perform as advertised.

On 2nd June 2015 in Paris, our company was awarded by PEPSICO France, in the competition 'Performance with Purpose' in recognition of excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
The 'Performance with Purpose' contest takes place every two years to evaluate CSR practices, applied by PEPSICO partners, which contribute to addressing social and environmental issues. Among three award categories and nine finalists this year, our company was presented with the prestigious “Jury’s Trophy”.

In below figure, was presented the trend of the market for retortable pouches. Specifically, retortable flexible packages are produced via utilisation of laminated materials, which are, in turn, manufactured by high-heat-resistance base materials, special inks and adhesives suitable for sterilisation.

It is a fact that the availability of homopolymer resins for film manufacture has been severely limited over the last 3 months. The underlying reason was that since February, 14 polymer resin production plants declared Force Majeure and subsequently proceeded with shutdown of their production facilities.
